About the Event

As Women, I'm sure we can all relate to the feeling that we *need to* or *should be* controlling things, going above and beyond (and even further, "beyonder"), or shouldering responsibilities that aren't ours because, who else will.

And that's usually where we get it wrong.  We are responsible for things.... to an extent.  We can actually control a lot less than we try to convince ourselves we can (and exhaust ourselves trying to prove that we can), and we make ourselves the keeper of *all the things* because we DECIDE that we want things done our way (not because they have to be done that way).

So the question becomes, what are you willing to let go of?  If you have a hard time answering that, maybe we should peel back the layers a bit more and ask this question, "How does navigating all of those things your trying to control and manipulate and be overly responsible for leave you FEELING".

Once we start diving into this lesson a bit, you may find yourself feeling guilty or ashamed or overwhelmed, and that's ALL normal.  AND.... you can let those feelings go.  We're not here to beat ourselves up, should ourselves even more, or "fix" yet another thing about ourselves.  This is about awareness and *choosing* how you handle things going forward (based on sorting out what feels like a priority to you, feels like a natural part of you, or feels related to the goals you set for yourself).

You'll learn to provide yourself with your own reflective questions about your experiences, then filter through the answers to recognize what kind of lessons and example your thoughts and actions are providing for you AND those around you.  From there you can decide what small shifts would create an outcome that has more ease, feels more aligned, and doesn't leave you exhausted, overwhelmed, or hitting your head against the wall because others don't "see it your way".

Here's the deal - This is a collective experience, and you'll get out of it what you put into it.  We'll start out with a presentation and information presented by myself, then together we'll talk through individual pain points attendees bring to the conversation.  Talking this through with the group is encouraged.  That being said, there will be opportunity to talk with me one-on-one during the class if your challenge is more private.

Class is Tuesday, April 11th (online) from 6:30-8 p.m.  Details for access will be shared once you sign up for the class.
